Everything is Rosie

Demonstrating the full breadth of Dabinett’s capabilities a small commission for a planning application to apply for Rosie’s Coffee shop in Stockport to expand to provide outdoor seating was quickly turned around.

The coffee shop is located on Princes Street in Stockport in close proximity to the new Redrock development. Much of Princes Street is now pedestrianised, with the council keen to improve the area and encourage businesses to make use of the pedestrianised areas.

Permission is usually needed where a cafe or restaurant wish to place tables outside, encroaching onto pavements.  The applications are different from the usual planning required and instead are made to the local highways departments.
