Works have completed on a project management instruction as part of planned maintenance at a Grade II listed building in Manchester. The works saw the overhaul and cleaning of front elevation, including repairs to windows and cleaning of stonework.
The works were carried out in liaison with Manchester City Council’s conservation team but with a strict aim of both ensuring the condition of the property, but also ensuring that monies were spent as effectively as possible offering the best value to the owners of the building.
Detailed work was required on assessing works necessary for repairs to windows and the overhaul, together with all the other further detailed work to other elements of the building requiring repair.
Works were tendered offering the best value for money across a range of contractors.
