A residential management company asked us to help with ongoing water leaks in a high-end apartment block. Even though several contractors had tried to fix the problem before, the water issues from the roof covering kept happening, causing problems for the residents below.
What was the Problem?
The building has an EPDM roof, designed as a ‘cold roof’ system. However, some important components of the roof construction were missing or done incorrectly. This caused water to get in and damage the apartments inside. Because of past repairs that didn’t work, it was important for us to carefully check and find out exactly what was going wrong.

We carried out a thorough inspection using specialist tools like thermal cameras to spot hidden leaks and moisture meters to measure dampness. We safely accessed both the roof surface and the space underneath to get the full picture.
By doing this, we were able to identify where the roof had been installed incorrectly and explain why the leaks kept occurring.
