James Graham

James is a Chartered Building Surveyor at Dabinett.  He is currently a director of the company.

James has been a Chartered Building Surveyor since 2006.  James was previously with a private practice whilst achieving Chartered status, from 2003 to 2007 and later a large national practice from 2007 to 2016.

Expertise

James has worked on a range of projects and a summary of recent experience is provided below.

  • Comfy Quilts Ltd – Stakehill
    Lead consultant, including specification writing, contract administration, project supervision and quality management of the repair and refurbishment Works on a 200,000 sqft industrial property. The contract value was £2,000,000.
  • Nuclear Decommissioning Authority
    Building survey and condition reports undertaken to various buildings and car park structures included within their property portfolio.
  • Allied British Foods
    Design and consultancy of a 3000sqm extension to a food factory in Trafford Park, Manchester. The design was detailed taking into account specialist requirements of the client and acting as the lead consultant to direct sub-consultants including structural engineers and M&E engineers.
  • Conwy Borough Council
    Condition surveys on properties in Llandudno under the Housing Act 2004. Inspections were carried out under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System to allow for accurate and reliable assessment of the condition and risks of housing stock.
  • Ashstead Plant Hire Limited (A-Plant)
    Lead consultant including CDMC service for the extension and refurbishment of an A-Plant depot in Hull. The scheme involved working closely with the M&E and structural engineers from inception through to practical completion. The contract value was £850,000.
