Daniel is a Chartered Surveyor at Dabinett. He first joined the company in 2020 during his industrial placement year, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the commercial property sector. After completing his degree, he returned to Dabinett in 2022 as a Graduate Surveyor. Demonstrating strong professional growth and a clear commitment to the industry, Daniel achieved Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2025.

Over the past five years, Daniel has developed a broad and practical skill set, with particular expertise in delivering complex projects under challenging conditions. His work spans several specialist areas, including:

• Project Management & Contract Administration: Daniel has successfully delivered a wide range of projects, with a strong recent focus on the education sector. He works closely with schools to implement bespoke design solutions that align with budgetary constraints and operational needs. From initial feasibility through to completion, Daniel ensures every stage is delivered with a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Building Pathology: With a strong technical foundation, Daniel is adept at diagnosing building defects and specifying effective, pragmatic remediation strategies. His approach is based on detailed investigation and clear, actionable reporting.
• Roofing Inspections & Advice: Daniel regularly conducts thorough roof surveys, identifying defects and providing independent, client-focused recommendations for repair or replacement. He oversees works to ensure durability, cost-effectiveness, and minimal disruption.
• Grant-Funded Projects: He has in-depth experience managing externally funded projects, where tight timeframes and strict reporting requirements demand precision, responsiveness, and efficient coordination.
• Fire Compartmentation & Compliance: Daniel works alongside fire risk assessors to carry out detailed compartmentation inspections, identify construction issues, and manage remedial works to ensure fire safety compliance.

Daniel combines deep technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-driven approach. His work is underpinned by professional integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering long-term value for clients.

Hobbies and Interests

Daniel is a keen long-distance runner, having completed several marathons and countless half-marathons, always chasing a new personal best (and occasionally a finish-line beer). His dedication to the sport reflects his approach to work, consistent, resilient, and always striving for improvement.

When he’s not pounding the pavement, he’s likely belting out tunes in karaoke bars, with a repertoire growing almost as fast as his fanbase. A loyal Everton supporter, Daniel continues to stand by the team through the highs, the lows, and the even lowers demonstrating unwavering commitment both on and off the pitch.
