Project Requirement

Dabinett was instructed by Together to monitor the development of an existing mill building to form 50 en-suite student bedrooms.

Dabinett completed the initial due diligence report, focusing on the project documents, including specifications, drawings and costs; the level of tenders received; cash flow projections; build a programme; statutory applications; and the contract team.

The due diligence checks were followed by regular site visits to monitor the works and approve drawdown applications.

Project Outcome

The funder’s investment was protected and financial risks mitigated as a result of Dabinett’s monitoring. The drawdowns were a true reflection of the work carried out and no major issues occurred throughout the project.
